4th October, 2022   |   How To...Guides

Here are a selection of photos of my ‘Conversion Couture’ collection shown as part of Haute & Holy in NYFW ’22.  Which one is your favourite? Drop me a comment below!

The Neon Yellow Dress – found on eBay, originally from Target, these four dress became one pop of neon designer drama

The Neon Pink Dress – originally a 70s dress, now refashioned into contemporary couture (see instagram for the conversion)

The Green Quilt dress – starting life as a vintage quilt, this ‘new’ dress comes with matching ‘convertibles’ (hat, bag and detachable collar)

The Pink Quilt Dress – this quilt morphed into a fabulous new shape with matching hat, bag and detachable collar

The Pink Hermes Dress – repair one damaged vintage skirt and combine with a preowned Hermes Maxi Twilly scarf for a stunning ‘new’ piece (see blog to find out more)

The Brown Hermes Dress – so good I made it twice

The Blue Silk Two Piece Jumpsuit – one of my all-time favourites, watch on @convertedcloset to see what it looked like ‘before’ and how it was refashioned into this icy slice of design perfection

The Brown Zara Dress – four pre-owned high-street dresses found on eBay combined to create a dramatic flow and high design simplicity

The Black & White Quilt Dress – featuring detachable sleeves so the wearer can alter the length, as well as a detachable collar

The Black & Blue Dress – combining two vintage pre-owned skirts, two colours, two textures, all topped off with incredible smocking

The Splotch Dress – I defy anyone not to fall in love with this slice of velvet glory. Once curtain fabric, it’s now fit for the runway complete with matching headband
